Community Baby Weigh Day
Every Wednesday from 1-3 p at Along Comes a Baby, 436 Bakerview Road, Suite 104, Bellingham. Hosted by Essential Lactation. No appointment necessary. A great — and free — opportunity for Whatcom County families to weigh their baby and ask questions.
Maternity Support Services
Sea Mar Community Health Center provides breastfeeding support and infant case management services to income-eligible residents of Whatcom County. Their WIC clinic offers breast feeding peer counselors.
Answers Counseling is a provider of maternity support services, infant case management, crisis family intervention and Guardian ad Litem services. Their services are available to all Medicaid eligible pregnant women within the state of Washington.

Bellingham Technical College offers several classes on postpartum and newborn care (including specific classes on breastfeeding) as well as childbirth and general parenting classes. (360) 752-8350.
Peace Health St. Joseph's Hospital Maternal Childcare Center, Bellingham, Washington.
La Leche League of Bellingham and Whatcom County is a group made up of experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.
LifeSong Perinatal Services, Bellingham, Washington, is run by birthkeeper Mary Burgess and offers doula services, breastfeeding support, breast pump rentals, home birth and post partum kits.
